Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 27, 2025

1. Services Provided

  • Deep Rooted Wellness and Creatives ("DRWC") offers nature-based wellness events, hiking/ backpacking experiences, overnight retreats, coaching and creative wellness programs (in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania) as described on our website. Participants register for specific events or programs and pay the fees associated. By booking any DRWC retreat or any other offerings, you agree to the following terms.​​

2. Booking & Payment

  • A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a retreat spot. This deposit does not apply to workshops or coaching sessions.

  • The retreat balance must be paid in full six (6) weeks before the start date. If payment is not received, DRWC may cancel your reservation and retain the deposit.

  • Payments may be made by credit card, ACH, or another approved method.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Retreat deposits are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel after the balance due date, all payments are forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing. We recommend purchasing trip-cancellation insurance.

4. Participant Responsibilities

  • You agree to attend prep calls, complete onboarding and medical forms, disclose accurate health information, and provide a doctor’s note if requested. Failure to meet requirements may result in denied participation without refund.

5. Assumption of Risk

  • Retreat activities (hiking, movement, outdoor practices) carry inherent risks. By registering, you voluntarily assume those risks and release DRWC, its owners, and contractors from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Respect toward facilitators, staff, and other participants is required. Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in dismissal without refund.

7. Confidentiality & Photography

  • Group sharing is confidential. Photos/videos may be taken for marketing; notify DRWC in writing before the retreat if you wish to opt out.

8. Organizer Cancellations or Changes

  • If DRWC must cancel or reschedule due to low enrollment, unsafe conditions, or events beyond control, you’ll receive a full refund or future-credit. DRWC isn’t responsible for travel or lodging costs.

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes will be handled within the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
