Who Are These Retreats for?

What's Your Fitness Level?

  • Fitness Level 1 = rarely active, sedentary job

  • Fitness Level 3= takes flat walks 1-3 times per week, does gently movement.

  • Fitness Level 4 = active 3-5 times per week (ex: walking 30 minutes) or someone who works an active job (ex: retail work, construction)

  • Fitness Level 7 = works out 3-5 times per week and regularly participates in active forms of recreation (ex: hiking on the weekends)

  • Fitness Level 10 = an elite endurance athlete (ex: you are currently training on a daily basis and possibly competing)

Wild Resilience FOUNDATIONS Retreat
(Beginner Level) 

“You don’t need experience, just curiosity and a willingness to show up.”

Minimum Fitness Level:  4/10

✨ 2 nights, 3 days
✨ Under 15 miles total  for the weekend
✨ Under 5,000 ft. elevation gain
✨ No backpacking experience necessary

This retreat is for women ready to take their first step into the healing, empowering world of backpacking and nature therapy. It’s designed to be accessible yet transformative—where laughter, journaling by streams, ceremonies, mindful hiking, and forest bathing help you reconnect to your body and spirit. This is designed for the beginner.

Wild Resilience EXPANSION Retreat
(Moderate Level)

“Push your limits. Learn how to draw from your inner well of resilience—one step, one climb, one breath at a time.”

 

Minimum Fitness Level:  6/10

2-3 nights, 3-4 days

✨ Up to 30 miles total for the weekend

✨ More challenging terrain & elevation gain

✨ Best for women who has some outdoor experience.

This retreat pushes beyond comfort zones into a deeper well of strength. “How Deep is Your Well?”—it’s about discovering the reserves of resilience you didn’t know you had. THis level will mix reflective and somatic exercises with the increased physical challenge of tougher terrain.  Together, we’ll explore how physical challenge becomes a gateway to emotional healing, mental toughness, and spiritual grounding. Be ready to push yourself and test your grit

Wild Resilience MISOGI Retreats
 (ADVANCED Level)

Minimum Fitness Level 7/10

The Misogi is not just a backpacking trip—it is a rite of passage. In Japanese tradition, Misogi means purification through a great challenge. This retreat is designed to push the limits of body, mind, and spirit so that you emerge stronger, clearer, and deeply connected to your inner well of resilience.

It is about asking yourself:

  • How deep is my well?

  • What am I capable of when I lean fully into my strength?

  • What stories, fears, or doubts will I leave behind on this trail?

You will walk away knowing that you can carry more—physically, mentally, and emotionally—than you ever believed possible.

5+ days, multi-night immersion
✨ High mileage and challenging terrain (long days, sustained climbs, rugged conditions)
✨ Designed to build resilience through physical challenge.  
✨ Best for women who have backpacked before and are ready for a true test of endurance, resilience, and spirit.

✨Must be committed to the provided training plan.

✨Must apply for the Misogi Challenge.

How is Audrey's approach different?

Audrey designs each retreat to be intentionally intimate, provide sacred containers for sharing, support, and deep connection. Audrey is a wounded healer, she walks the talk—her story of surviving abuse, recovery, and rebuilding a life of purpose is infused in everything she offers with authenticity and relatability. In her words "I recover outloud."

  • Guided Outdoor Skills: Learn essential outdoor skills, from setting up your gear to navigating trails and practicing leave-no-trace principles.

  • Mindfulness and Connection: Engage in activities like journaling, nature crafts, Tarot, yoga, meditation, and elemental ceremonies.

  • Supportive Community: Share the journey with like-minded women in a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Be Physically Challenged: Be prepared to carry a full backpack (approximately 30lbs) while hiking up to 4-10 miles per day. We will have many breaks along the way.
